DAA Dragon Boat Festival


Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm 
Date: Sunday 25th September 
Location: Exeter Quay 
This is their third year running our Dragon Boat Festival and this year we are hoping to make it our biggest one yet!It's a fantastic event either for team building or just for fun. Each boat takes 16 rowers plus a drummer but you can have up to 20 in your team, so you can mix and match!

The River Dart Struggle 


Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm 
Date: Sunday 9th October 
Location: Dart Bridge, Buckfastleigh
The Totnes Raft Race, known as ' The River Dart Struggle ' will be held on Sunday, 9th October.It takes place along the river Dart starting at Dart Bridge, Buckfastleigh, and on through a mixture of white water, fast flowing weirs and calm stretches, and makes its way down to the finish in Totnes, a distance of some 14 Kms.This is an ideal corporate or group team building exercise, but with a difference, each team must make their own raft out of a restricted list of approved materials.Crews from 2 to 10 per raft, all male, all female or mixed, over the age of 18, can take part in an exciting struggle to the finish.

Sealegs Puppet Theatre: The Ugly Duckling 

Date: 28th October 2016
Location: The Pavillions, Teignmouth
Float downstream with the Story Man, in Sea Legs Puppet Theatre's gentle, musical adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's classic tale of belonging and identity.
Meet a host of colourful characters, as they run the troubled duckling out of the farmyard into a cold, lonely wilderness. Journey through the seasons as the hapless creature finds his way in a hostile world.
But do not worry! In a grand musical finale to melt even the coldest of hearts, a happy ending awaits our humble hero. 
Set on the banks of a magical river, brilliant storytelling, fantastic puppets and a delightful new musical score make this a must see show for little ones and their families.

Pennywell Farm


In addition to all the hands on animal activities, shows and displays included the admission price, there will also be 2 big shows every Saturday and Sunday throughout September and October. 
There will be juggling, unicycling, comedy and magic from some world class entertainers.
We have a special visitor from Paw Patrol on Thursday 27th October when Marshall will be joining us the farm and making regular appearances throughout the day. 
On Sat 29 and Sun 30 October, singer songwriter Poco Drom will be at Pennywell, singing about all things wild and wonderful. He keeps the whole family entertained and he has ears and a tail!
